Boolean Taxidermy.

These beautiful renderings hail from the studio of Zeitguised.  What’s unique to this process is that instead of capturing a 3D projection onto a 2D plane, the image is captured by realizing the 3D projection through another 3D shape.  To get a better understanding of that nonsensical statement, check out Kontaktschmelze.
